In the middle is an imperial stormtrooper helmet that actually talked. That thing was hours of fun.

I have always loved playing with kids and am excited to start a big family of my own sometime down the road. Imagination is the key. If you know how to look for it, there's always forests of wild beasts to explore, keys that unlock secret doors and long quests through parks and city streets to rescue the princess and defeat the wizard. As a scientist, I like to throw in the little observations that fascinate me about the world: the chlorophyll in the leaves capturing the energy for almost all the life on this planet, the stickiness of water that allows you to overfill a cup because of the short lived hydrogen bonds and trips to museums to see the vast scope of life around the planet and matter across the universe.

We love Happy Feet and saw it twice in the theater. Nothing beats watching the movie while taking turns holding a big cuddly Mumble.

I am a high energy babysitter who usually finds myself and the kids tired by the end of the day. I like to take them to parks and playgrounds. I bring along my favorite books to read aloud like my collection of fables and folk tales from around the world and "Stand Back," Said the Elephant, "I'm Going to Sneeze!" where the hippopotamus falls right on his bottom-us. I try to avoid television but as an animated movie enthusiast, it's hard to beat Snow White, Up or Alice in Wonderland on a rainy day.

References are available and include the manager of the Manhattan's Children Theater. I once went for the birthday party of a friend's child and spent the whole time playing with the gaggle of children. The owner hired me on the spot to play with kids at every birthday party. When the children arrive, we draw a poster together for the birthday kid and everybody gets to draw a piece of a story that we make up as we go. Then we sit back to watch one of their great plays for kids followed by pizza and ice cream. It's one of the best jobs I've ever had.
